Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Owner's Manual: System temporarily unavailable

Condition A

When driving the Nissan Armada, external radar interference from other vehicles or surrounding sources may disrupt the radar sensor’s ability to accurately detect vehicles ahead. In such situations, the Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) system will automatically deactivate to prevent incorrect operation. The AEB system OFF warning light (orange) will illuminate, and the message "Driving Aids Temporarily limited Radar interference" will be displayed in the Nissan Armada vehicle information display.

Action to take:

Once the interference is no longer present and normal sensor operation is restored, the Nissan Armada I-FCW system will automatically resume its functionality without requiring driver intervention.

Condition B

Under certain conditions where forward vehicle detection becomes unreliable, the Nissan Armada I-FCW system will automatically turn off to maintain safety and avoid false warnings.

In these cases, the AEB system OFF warning light (orange) will illuminate, and the message "Driving Aids Temporarily disabled Clean sensor area See Owner's Manual" will appear in the Nissan Armada display.

Action to take:

If the warning light (orange) activates, safely stop the Nissan Armada and shift the transmission into the P (Park) position. Turn off the engine, then carefully clean the radar sensor cover located at the front of the vehicle using a soft cloth. Restart the engine and verify if the warning clears. If the warning persists, the Nissan Armada system should be inspected by a qualified technician. It is strongly recommended to visit an authorized NISSAN dealer for proper diagnosis and repair.

Action to take:

When normal driving conditions are restored and sensor visibility improves, the Nissan Armada I-FCW system will automatically return to normal operation.

System malfunction

If a malfunction is detected within the Nissan Armada I-FCW system, it will automatically deactivate to ensure driver safety. A warning chime will sound, the AEB system OFF warning light (orange) will illuminate, and the message "Malfunction See Owner's Manual" will appear in the vehicle information display.

Action to take:

If the warning indicator remains illuminated, safely stop the Nissan Armada, switch off the engine, and restart it. If the issue persists after restarting, the system requires inspection. It is recommended to have the Nissan Armada checked by an authorized NISSAN dealer to ensure that all safety features are functioning correctly.
