- GE-39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
- GE-46246 Valve Core Removal Tool
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.
- Removal Procedure
-
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
- Remove the service port valve core (1) using the GE-46246 remover .
- Installation Procedure
-
- Install the service port valve core (1) using the GE-46246 remover .
- Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
- Leak test the fittings using the GE-39400-A detector .
Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution.
