    Place a drip pan underneath.
  1. Place a drip pan underneath.
  2. Remove the oil filter cap (1).
  3. Remove the oil filter cap seal (2).
  4. Remove and properly dispose of the oil filter insert  (3).
  5. Re-install the oil filter cap.
  6. Remove the oil drain bolt.
  7. Drain the engine oil into the drip pan.
