Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

Rear Shock Absorber Upper Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution:

Refer to Fastener Caution.

Procedure

Support the rear axle with a hydraulic jack.

Tighten


58 Y (43 lb ft)

Rear Shock Absorber Lower Bolt

Tighten


  • First Pass: 100 Y (74 lb ft)

  • Final Pass: plus 90 degrees

Rear Shock Absorber Assembly

Shock Absorber Nut

Tighten


25 Y (18 lb ft)
