Chevrolet Sonic Repair Manual: Water Pump Pulley Installation
- Install the water pump pulley (2) to the water pump (3).
- Install the 3 water pump pulley bolts (1) with locking compound and tighten
to 20 Y (15 lb ft)

Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers.
Note:
Counterhold the crankshaft balancer. The belt has to be installed for this procedure.
