Chevrolet Sonic Repair Manual: Oil Level Indicator and Tube Removal

Chevrolet Sonic Repair Manual / Powertrain / Engine / Engine Lubrication / Oil Level Indicator Tube / Oil Level Indicator and Tube Removal

  1. Remove the oil dipstick.

  2. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt (1).

    3. Note:

    If the engine oil level is at the maximum level, oil may emerge while removing the oil dipstick guide tube.

  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube (2) and oil level indicator seal.
