Chevrolet Sonic Repair Manual: Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
- Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the throttle body wiring harness connector.
- Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose from the throttle body. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement.
- Remove the 4 throttle body fasteners (3).
- Remove the throttle body (2) along with the throttle body seal ring (1).
- Installation Procedure

- Install the throttle fasteners (2) along with a NEW throttle body seal ring (1).
- Install the 4 throttle body fastener (3) and tighten
to 8 Y (71 lb in)
.
- Install the charge air cooler outlet air hose to the throttle body. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement.
- Connect the throttle body wiring harness connector.
