Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Owner's Manual: Air cleaner
To access the air filter in your Nissan Armada, release the retaining clips 1 and carefully lift the air cleaner housing upward 2.
The air filter element in the Nissan Armada is designed for single use and should not be cleaned or reused. Replace it strictly according to the recommended maintenance intervals outlined in the service schedule. During replacement, it is advisable to wipe the inside of the air cleaner housing and cover with a clean, damp cloth to remove accumulated dust and debris, ensuring optimal airflow and engine efficiency.
WARNING
- Operating the Nissan Armada engine without the air cleaner installed
can be extremely dangerous. The air cleaner not only filters incoming air but
also acts as a barrier against flames in the event of an engine backfire.
If the air cleaner is removed and a backfire occurs, serious burns may result. Never operate the engine without the air cleaner installed, and exercise caution when servicing components in this area.
- Never introduce fuel into the throttle body or attempt to start the Nissan Armada engine with the air cleaner removed, as this may cause severe injury or fire hazards.
