Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Owner's Manual: Antenna
Window antenna
In the Nissan Armada, the window antenna is seamlessly integrated into the rear
side glass, specifically within the third-row seat window. This design ensures reliable
signal reception while maintaining a clean and modern exterior appearance.
CAUTION
- Avoid applying metallic window tint or attaching any metal components
near the third-row window of your Nissan Armada, as this may interfere with
signal reception and cause unwanted noise or reduced radio performance.
- When cleaning the inside surface of the third-row window, handle the
Nissan Armada antenna area with care. Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with
water and gently wipe along the antenna pattern to prevent scratches or damage.
- Ensure that luggage or cargo inside the Nissan Armada does not come into
contact with or damage the antenna pattern embedded in the glass.
Satellite radio antenna
The Nissan Armada satellite radio antenna is positioned on the rear section of
the vehicle’s roof, allowing optimal signal reception for satellite broadcasting
services.
CAUTION
- Accumulation of ice on the Nissan Armada antenna can reduce radio signal
quality. Carefully remove any ice buildup to restore normal reception.
- When clearing snow from the roof, avoid applying excessive force to the
antenna, as this could damage the antenna or dent the roof panel of your Nissan
Armada.
- When using a high-pressure car wash, keep the nozzle at a safe distance
from the antenna to prevent deformation or damage to the sealing components.
- Placing cargo near the antenna on the roof of the Nissan Armada may obstruct
signal reception. Whenever possible, avoid loading items in this area.
GNSS antenna (for ProPILOT Assist 2.1)
The Nissan Armada is equipped with dual GNSS antennas located on the rear portion
of the roof. These antennas support advanced navigation and driver assistance systems
such as ProPILOT Assist 2.1, ensuring precise positioning and enhanced driving support.
CAUTION
- Ice buildup on the GNSS antennas may negatively impact positioning accuracy.
Remove ice carefully to maintain proper GNSS functionality in your Nissan Armada.
- Do not apply strong pressure when removing snow from the roof, as this
may damage the antenna units or deform the vehicle’s roof structure.
- Keep high-pressure wash nozzles away from the GNSS antennas to prevent
seal damage or misalignment.
- Roof-mounted cargo can interfere with GNSS signal reception in the Nissan
Armada. Avoid placing objects near the antenna area whenever possible.
