Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement - Radiator

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
  2. Remove the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Seal

Procedure

Discard the old seal and replace with a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor radiator mounted electrical sensor.
  2. Inspect and clean the radiator prior to installation.
