Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
  2. Remove the fasteners securing the radiator surge tank to the vehicle and position the radiator surge tank out of the way. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement.
