Preliminary Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Fastener

Caution:

Refer to Fastener Caution.

Tighten

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from accelerator pedal position Sensor.
  2. After replacement of the accelerator pedal position sensor, use a scan tool to speed up the learn process. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup.
