Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
1	Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Fastener Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution. Tighten 10 Y (89 lb in)
2	Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from accelerator pedal position Sensor. After replacement of the accelerator pedal position sensor, use a scan tool to speed up the learn process. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup.
