Liftgate Side Applique Replacement

Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Open and support the rear liftgate assembly.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the four nuts securing the liftgate side applique to the rear liftgate outer panel.
  5. Release the liftgate side applique center retainer from the liftgate panel.

Caution:

Refer to Fastener Caution.

Tighten

Procedure

Remove the liftgate release switch. Refer to Liftgate Release Switch Replacement
