Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Disconnect the liftgate struts. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement.
  3. Remove the body lock pillar upper trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.

Caution:

Refer to Fastener Caution.

Tighten
