Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Airbag Coil Replacement.

Caution:

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as necessary.
  2. Release the locking tab in order to disconnect the turn signal switch bracket from the steering column.
  3. Transfer components as necessary.
